Last month I hosted one of my yearly beach events in the Netherlands where I organised themed shoots. The theme of this one was Peter Lindbergh who is an iconic German photographer, certainly worth looking up.
Tycho was a participating photographer who I have shot with many times and this is what we achieved.
I was a naughty girl this weekend and didnt do any shoots! Instead, I blagged some free guest passes for a big Dutch festival and went there for the day.
It was super hot, 38 degrees, and I got to hang out in the press tent, sunbathe, dance and listen to the Foo Fighters in a bikini top :).
Because the weather was so hot, everybody was allowed to take in water pistols, so five minutes didnt go bye that I wasnt soaked with water (that shine on me is from water, not perspiration, honest!).
Oh, and check the food they were serving in the press tent! Surf and Turf! Beats soggy burgers any day!
Well today seems to be a day of good news!
I woke up to a lovely email from Dutch Photographer Ivor Paanakker (whom has also shot for my members section) telling me that our work from a shoot together last year in Deventer, the Netherlands is being published in this months JFK magazine (#33) which has just hit the shops. The article has been titled "The Secret Diary", and we got a full 6 pages in the magazine.
Joya, with her exotic Mediterranean looks, and curvaceous body instantly appealed to me.
The minute I saw here I knew we had to try a shoot together. With roots from Spain and Algeria, but raised in France her mix pleasantly compliments my Greek Scottish origins.
She came to the Netherlands by train from Paris, and we shot three fully styled sets in a manor house in the North of the country.
